Museum of Flight - This six story museum is just 20 minutes south of downtown Seattle, next to Boeing Field. In the Great Hall you can see 20 life size planes including the first Air Force F3 supersonic fighter and a replica of the Wright brother's first glider. You can board the original Air Force One presidential plane and watch aircraft take off and land from a working air traffic control tower. Japanese Gardens- Washington Park Arboretum - A place of and to itself, this three and a half acre garden offers a look and smell of Japanese plants and flowers, as well as an opportunity to attend traditional tea ceremony.
